Dr. Cüneyt Çiftdoğan was born in Ankara in 1971. After completing primary school in Gaziantep, he settled in Izmir and completed his secondary and high school education in Izmir. In the last years of his high school education, with his passion for white coats, he took the university exam and was accepted to Ege University Faculty of Medicine.

Cüneyt Çiftdoğan, who started his medical education at Ege University in 1988, graduated as a medical doctor in 1994 after an intensive and successful medical education. Cüneyt Çiftdoğan, who passed the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) in 1997 and started his specialization training in the Department of General Surgery at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine, took part in many successful operations until 2002 and had serious experience in the branch of general surgery. After his specialist training, Op. Dr. He was entitled to receive the title.

Dr. Cüneyt Çiftdoğan has been working as a General Surgery Specialist since 2002. He has equipped his professional skills and abilities with technological developments by working in many public and private hospitals.

Kadir Oyur is a dynamic and accomplished medical professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of surgery. He completed his Postgraduate Residency in Plastic Surgery at the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Minsk, Belarus, followed by another residency in General Surgery at Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Kiev, Ukraine. Prior to this, he pursued his medical education at Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa English Medical School. Throughout his career, Kadir has held various positions, including roles at Europ-Assistance Insurance Company in Turkey and Antes Aesthetic Surgery Center in Belarus. He has actively engaged in research and observational programs at prestigious institutions like Harvard University Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the University of California, Irvine. Kadir is also proficient in computer skills and speaks multiple languages fluently, including English, Turkish, Kurdish, Russian, and German. Beyond his medical endeavors, he enjoys pursuits such as playing musical instruments, sailing, and cycling. Kadir is an active member of esteemed medical societies such as The International Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Abdulkadir Bedirli completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1988. He became a General Surgeon in 1997 and was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He became a Professor in 2010.

In 2011, Dr. Bedirli completed the Robotic Surgery Certification Program in Strasbourg and became a console surgeon. He performed his first robotic surgery in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University in the same year. Since then, he has successfully applied robotic surgery to over 1500 patients, mostly for obesity, stomach cancer, and colon-rectum cancers.

In 2012, Dr. Bedirli became a Surgical Oncology Specialist and participated in training programs on Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in Paris-France in 2014 and in Lyon-France in 2016. In 2018, he completed the Gastric Cancer Master Class program at Severance Hospital in Seoul-South Korea, and in 2019, he participated in the Bariatric Redo Surgery training program in Bruges-Belgium.

Dr. Bedirli was awarded the F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) title by the American College of Surgeons in 2018. He has published 61 international and 47 national papers, presented 87 papers at international conferences and 68 papers at national conferences, contributed to 7 book chapters, and served as an editor for one book. Dr. Bedirli has an H-index of 18, with 1064 citations to his 72 publications.

Op. Dr. Necdet Derici was born in Konya Beyşehir in March 1971. He completed his primary school in Beyşehir. Then, he moved to Konya, Ereğli for his secondary and high school education. He graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1995. Between 1995 and 1999, he worked as an assistant doctor at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital. In his next career step, he joined Istanbul Training and Research Hospital as a General Surgery Specialist and worked from 2000 to 2009. He specialized in Endocrine Surgery (Goiter, Surreal, Parathyroid Surgery), Laparoscopic Surgery (Laparoscopic Obesity, Colon Surgery, Stomach Surgery, Hernia Surgery, Appendectomy, Hiatus Hernia, cholecystectomy), Gastrointestinal Surgery (Stomach Cancer and Ulcers, Colon Cancers, Bile duct Surgery) and Endoscopy.

In 2015, He worked with Dr. Bruno Dillemans on Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass in Belgium. In 2017, He worked with Dr. Phillipe Topart ve Dr Guillaume Becouarn on Obesity Surgery and Laparoscopy. Born in Ankara in 1978, Dr. Umut R. Gündüz began his medical career at the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.

Later, he became a General Surgery Specialist at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.

From 2011 onwards, they worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Antalya Training and Research Hospital.

In 2018, they became a Clinical Education Instructor. Dr. Umut Rıza Gündüz primarily focused on metabolic, breast, endocrine & other general surgeries.

In 2021, they worked as both a manager and a physician in the General Surgery department at Özel Termessos Hospital.

Since 2023, Umut R. Gündüz has been continuing to accept patients at their own clinic, mainly specializing in metabolic surgery and performing general surgery operations.

Dr Braun's primary responsibilities include direct leadership and execution of complex surgeries, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and other advanced metabolic and bariatric procedures. He has developed solid experience in managing the different clinical challenges present in obese patients, providing them with personalized and optimized care to ensure positive long-term outcomes.
