Mehr lesenProfessor Santoro is heavily involved in research, with interest in many topics, such as the development of new cancer drugs and new biological therapies, interests for solid and haematological tumours, and not only he treats cancer survivors but also patients with comorbidities.
He has worked in Humanitas Research Hospital for 22 years. Professor Santoro’s post-graduate research was carried out at the Unité de Development Therapeutique (Institut de Cancerologie et d’Immunogenetique, Villejuif of Paris) from 1974 to 1975, and in the Division of Medical Oncology of the National Cancer Institute of Milan from 1976 to 1977.
In 1977, he specialized in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology at University of Rome. In 1979, he completed his fellowship post-graduate work in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York and later, at Stanford University. In 1980, he specialized in oncology at the University of Genoa.
Current Teaching Activity: Professor Santoro worked as Contract Professor at the Specialization School in Clinical Pathology ad Pavia University from 1992 to 1997. Also, from 1993 to 2002 he has been President of the Rare Tumour Group. Now he is full professor at Humanitas University.
Current Positions:
In addition, Professor Santoro’s unique expertise was recognized through numerous awards, such as the Managing Doctor of the Year award (2013), the City of Siena S. Caterina d’Oro Award (2013, Serra Association Award for scientific research) and social and healthcare commitment (Salerno, 2009).

Career
Prof. Dr. Osman İLHAN graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. After completing his internal medicine residency at the same faculty in 1982, he served as a senior resident at the GATA Hematology Clinic during his military service. After completing his mandatory service at SSK Ulus Hospital, he returned to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for a subspecialty. In 1990, he became an associate professor of hematology. He worked in Genoa, Italy to increase his knowledge and experience in leukemia. He was part of the team that performed the first bone marrow stem cell transplant in Turkey. In 1996, he went to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA to work on "Stem Cell Mobilization, Cryopreservation, and Transplantation." In 1996, he became a professor of hematology. In 1999, he was elected as the regional president of ESFH (European Society for Hemapheresis). Dr. İlhan, who was the founder and president of the Hemapheresis Society in 2000, joined the World Apheresis Association (WAA) in 2001. He became the President of the Turkish Hematology Association in October 2001. Dr. İlhan, who is an active member of the European Hematology Association (EHA), was a member of the accreditation committee (ECAH) for education. He played a role in the accreditation of Turkish hematologists in CME credits by participating in the accreditation of congresses and courses held in Turkey as a Provider Status. He served as the founding president of the Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association established in 2008. He became the founding president of the Geriatric Hematology Association in 2011. He is the Honorary President of the World Apheresis Congress (WAA) held in 2012. Dr. İlhan, who previously served on drug licensing and ethics committees at the Ministry of Health, has also served as the Chairman of the Photopheresis-Apheresis Commission and the Scientific Committee for Bone Marrow Transplantation, as well as the Chairman of the National Organ Tissue Cell Coordination Board, the Scientific Board of Cord Blood, and the Stem Cell Research Board. He is the founding president of the STEM CELL FOUNDATION and has played an important role in the establishment of TURKOK (Turkish Stem Cell Donor Bank). Dr. İlhan has over 300 publications in journals registered in PubMed and more than 5000 citations. He holds the Platinum CME certificate from the European Hematology Association. He owns four brands/patents named “Kökten Çözüm (Deep Solution), Telehematoloji (Telehematology), Hemaferez (Hemapheresis), Kanser Kök Hücresi (Cancer Stem Cell)”. He is currently the President of the Ankara Medical Association. Prof. Dr. Osman İlhan, who served at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for 50 years, began working at Özel Koru Ankara Hospital as of January 1, 2023.

She received her undergraduate degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty and completed her medical residency training at the Department of Pediatrics at Zeynep Kamil Women's and Children's Health and Diseases Hospital. She also completed her medical subspecialty training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Cukurova University. Her medical residency thesis was titled "The Relationship Between Morning First Urine Density and Nocturnal Enuresis in Children Aged 3-6 Years", and her medical subspecialty thesis was titled "Comparison of Sphingosine 1-phosphate Receptor 4 Gene Expression in Healthy Children and Neuroblastoma Patients". She started her medical career as a general practitioner. After working as a general practitioner for 4 years, she worked as a doctor researcher at Zeynep Kamil Women's and Children's Health and Diseases Training and Research Hospital for 5 years. She then served as a specialist doctor, assistant professor, and associate professor at various institutions. She worked at Houston MD Anderson, North Carolina-UNC, Boston-Harvard University in the USA. Additionally, she conducted research on cell therapies. She received the title of professor in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Usak Medical Faculty. She is a member of the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group, European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), Turkish Medical Association, Turkish National Pediatrics Association, Turkish Pediatrics Association, Pediatrics Specialty Academy Association (PUADER), Turkish Immunology Association, Turkish Hematology Association, and Molecular Oncology Association (MOKAD). She currently serves her patients at Koru Hospital. Her medical interests include:

Er hat über 100 Artikel in renommierten Zeitschriften veröffentlicht und ist Professor für Hämatologie am Universitätskrankenhaus Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona.

Zu Beginn ihrer Karriere trat Dina Ben-Yehuda in die medizinische Fakultät der Ben-Gurion-Universität des Negev ein.
Nach einem dreijährigen Aufbaustudium am Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York kehrte Dina Ben-Yehuda 1992 zu Hadassah zurück.
Im April 2000 wurde der Professor zum Direktor der Abteilung für Hämatologie ernannt.
Im Jahr 2017 wurde Prof. Ben-Yehuda die 23. Dekanin der Hadassah School of Medicine und die erste Frau an der Spitze einer medizinischen Fakultät mit über 70-jähriger Geschichte.
Professor Dina Ben-Yehuda erhielt als erste Soldatin den Chief of Staff Award für ihre Initiative, Informationen über die während der Kämpfe Getöteten oder Vermissten zu sammeln.
Kürzlich wurde Dina Ben-Yehuda mit dem Stiftungspreis ausgezeichnet. Daniel Sonnenfeld Heilung aus dem Herzen. Der Ehrenpreis wird an Ärzte und Pflegekräfte verliehen, die über ihren Beruf hinausgehen und weit mehr für Patienten tun, als es die ärztliche Ethik vorschreibt.

Er hatte Positionen in tertiären Krebszentren inne und ist derzeit Direktor der Onkologiedienste im VPS-Krankenhaussystem in den VAE und MENA. Er ist auch in der onkologischen Forschung tätig.
