Er hat eine medizinische Ausbildung von der Universität Istanbul, Spezialisierung auf Innere Medizin, und eine Spezialisierung auf medizinische Onkologie vom Institut für Onkologie der Universität Istanbul. Er ist Mitglied der Medical Oncology Association, Lung Cancers Association, ESMO, ASCO und Istanbul Medical Chamber.
