Dr. Itir Sirinoglu Temiz ist Professorin für Hämatologie. Dr. Sirinoglu Temiz treats a broad range of malignant and non-malignant blood conditions. She focuses on therapeutic apheresis and adult stem cell transplantation. Therapeutic apheresis is a process that filters the blood to remove diseased components. Her clinical practice involves treating:
- Acute and chronic leukemias
- Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Multiple myeloma
- Bone marrow failure and aplastic anemia
- Thrombocytopenias and thrombosis
The specialist performs allogenic bone marrow transplantation from related and unrelated donors. This involves using healthy stem cells from a donor to replace damaged marrow. She also utilizes haploidentical stem cell transplantation techniques. Her approach includes CAR T-cell therapy and biological treatments. CAR T-cell therapy modifies a patient's own immune cells to attack cancer cells.
