I went to trio Klinic in December 2024 for deep plane face lift , neck lift and temporal lift.
I had been to see the surgeon when he was in Manchester UK doing consultations in September 2024.
First of all I want to start by saying to anyone thinking about this place , Don’t be fooled by the social media videos of influencers visiting there and saying how amazing everything is etc …
The videos are very misleading , it’s not all air kisses and bunches of flowers etc..it just doesn’t happen .
When i arrived I went to the meeting point I was instructed to go to, only to be told that it’s closed (Christmas day)..it was quickly rectified but a panic all the same.
I was taken to a big standard hotel and booked in.
The morning after I was picked up and taken to the hospital, where the coordinator was waiting for me.
I was booked in and given all the relevant test etc.
Then had to wait for the surgeon …upon arrival he was not a man of many words .. he spoke no more than 20words to me …came in , got a camera out took photos then got pens out to mark my face … I was shocked that there was no 2nd consultation to refresh in his mind what I wanted etc…I of course said I wanted to talk about the procedure first…I said what I wanted he listened and went ahead to mark my face, then left.
The hospital and staff were lovely and i cannot fault the care given before and after the surgery.
After the surgery I rested and stayed for a night in the hospital but I knew there was something wrong with my neck and I knew the compression garment was fitted far to tight around my neck, I was told it wasn’t, when i pointed this out … it later turned out my neck was black and blue and massively swollen and I could tell by the reactions of the nurses something wasn’t right as i had said from the start.
I asked for honesty but was told (as they always say) it’s normal and swelling .
I stayed for another 5 days and my neck got worse but again I was told it was normal.
At the follow up appointment at the doctors office again a man of few words ..they tried to drain my neck with a needle but nothing happened ..
I was sent home , but my neck wasn’t getting any better and my facelift incisions were bursting open in places..I sent regular pictures and videos of everything but each time was told it’s normal …weeping scars and swollen black neck ..I knew this wasn’t normal …I was then told to come back at my expense so it would be drained ???? Which is what they were supposed to do the first time
The after care is bad ..once you voice concerns they literally stop communicating…I have not heard from them since and they haven’t checked on the healing or progression
I would say this …they are only interested in influencers who make videos bigging them
Up in return for free or heavily discounted, surgery , don’t believe me , look at the videos and the people who make them , there obvious surgery addicts who would say anything to get free surgery
I must add also that communication with them before your arrival is dreadful, many times they read messages and don’t reply and I have to message again and again to get a response.
I paid over £8000 for my procedures and feel at the moment I have more new scars than any noticeable improvements that the surgery should have brought.
I also must add that ALL the nurses who tended to me at the hotel , twice daily were absolutely amazing and I couldn’t fault the care they gave.
Would I recommend Turkey for surgery…YES …I’ve had many procedures done there
Would I recommend this clinic and surgeon….unfortunately I’d have to say NO
Mainly because of what I say above , the results , the aftermath I indured and the impersonal feeling of everything …it just felt like I was just a number and a pay packet.
I am 6 weeks post surgery and still have scabs and scars and stitch mark dimples / pulls in my skin which were not there before , so things that were done to make improvements have left more scars
Just remember influencers like Katie price and Jessica Alves get free surgery so don’t fall for the video hype , that I think I did :(
