I took my dyslexic 13 year old child, along with his mother to NPIstanbul Brain Hospital last May for consultation. Within a period of one week my child was assessed and we got done with what we needed. The services tendered were swift, thorough and satisfying. Dr Mukhtar, and his other specialist colleagues - psychologist, psychiatrist etc, were exceptionally attentive, emphatic and professional during the consultation sessions. The results were remarkable, especially the debriefing session which gave us comfort and direction in dealing with the very need that took us to the hospital. The translator, Mr. Abdulhak and his other assistants were quite good at their roles during our visits. Though it took a very long time before we got our translation, it was still worth the wait. I wouldn't hesitate recommending NPIstanbul Hospital to those who need their services. I commend the proprietor for establishing such a specialist one-stop center of excellence for brain issues. I pray the quality of the institution will soar to greater height!

I recently visited NP Brain Hospital in Istanbul and had an excellent experience, thanks mainly to Ahmed Salem. He made my entire visit so efficient and smooth. Ahmed is highly intellectual, smart, and proficient in his role. If you are coming as an international patient, I strongly recommend that you request him specifically - he truly makes a big difference. I also want to acknowledge the neurologist I saw, who was outstanding. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, was patient, and gave me a valuable second opinion compared to the other doctors I had previously seen at the hospital. The hospital itself has modern facilities and advanced machines, which gave me confidence in the quality of care. I had the full brain check-up and was satisfied with both the tests and the clear communication throughout the process. On the downside, the finance department made things unnecessarily difficult on my first day, and another area for improvement is the cafeteria, which was not great and could definitely be better. Also, an important tip for international patients: do not bring small denominations of US dollars, as they won’t accept them. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and grateful for the professionalism of the team, especially Ahmed Salem, who made this a 5-star experience.

I took my mum to NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital and we had a really good experience. Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. She had multiple tests done, and we received all the results on the same day, which was very impressive. Considering the range of services provided, the costs were very reasonable — it was truly great value for us. The hospital staff were professional, kind, and efficient. They also arranged a translator for us, Robiyakhon, who was absolutely excellent. She stayed with us throughout our hospital visit, guided us around, explained everything clearly, and made the whole experience stress-free. She wasn’t just a translator, but also a very caring and genuine person to have around. I highly recommend NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital for anyone seeking professional, affordable, and well-organised medical care.

Edit: I just want to add an update to my review because I have been back a few times now. My psychiatrist (Dr Gunay) has been really amazing so far. I was having some annoying side effects from some of the medications and she has been really helpful with troubleshooting them. Her knowledge of ADHD and the medications for ADHD is very high. She knows about things from very specific scientific studies so I think she really keeps up with the latest literature. She also asks very good questions and I always leave feeling like I got a chance to properly discuss everything and describe my experience. I had a problem getting one of my medications because pharmacies kept saying they didn't have any in stock so I messaged her and she immediately helped me sort it out. I also just wanted to mention that the last couple of times I was there I had different translator assistant person called Robiya and she was also very friendly and helpful. Original review: I went here for an ADHD diagnosis. I already had a diagnosis from Germany but moved to Istanbul for a new job so I needed the diagnosis here. My experience was very positive. When I first arrived they had a translator assigned to me, and he was very polite and helpful. He guided me to the different rooms for the various tests they needed to do (ECG, blood test, psychiatrist etc), and he made the whole experience really easy. The psychiatrist was really great too. I was pleasantly surprised by how much time she spent with me discussing my symptoms and current medication etc. Her English was very good, and she took the time to thoroughly discuss my situation and figure out whether my current medication was enough or whether it could be improved. After our discussions she took everything we discussed into account and suggested an additional pill which has so far helped improve many of the side effects I was having from my other medications. It was an off label use of the new pill, where you really need to delve into the literature to find studies that show the benefits that I've experienced, which suggests she has exceptionally good knowledge. She also helped me find a nearby pharmacy that had the medication in stock so I was able to get it right after the appointment. Overall the experience was very positive. It cost around 900€ for all the tests, and most of these costs are one-off costs that won't be required for repeat prescriptions in the future. The psychiatrist appointment itself was around 230€ which I think is a fair price given how much time she spent with me.
