Overview and Origins
Worldwide Dental & Plastic Surgery Hospital, formerly Dr. Hung & Associates Dental Center, was founded in 1994 by Dr. Do Dinh Hung, DDS, PhD. It became the first dental clinic in Ho Chi Minh City to operate under the American dental care model, inspired by Dr. Hung’s training at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, University of Houston–Texas. His mission was to bring international standards to Vietnam and elevate Vietnamese dentistry globally.
Becoming Vietnam’s First Dental & Plastic Surgery Hospital
In 2018, the clinic expanded into Worldwide Dental & Cosmetic Surgery Hospital after partnering with experienced plastic surgeons and dermatologists. This upgrade made it the first dental clinic in Vietnam officially approved by the Ministry of Health to operate as a Dental and Plastic Surgery Hospital.

Having had dental problems for many years due to heavy night grinding much of my entire upper and lower teeth were eroded front and back and missing teeth from failed root canals.
After my last dental visit in September I walked away with an incorrect and uncomfortable bridge and told there was nothing more they could do.
From a friends recommendation and with nothing to lose I got in touch with Worldwide Dental & Plastic Surgery Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City it has been one of the best decisions I have made and couldn’t be happier.
A clean hospital with state of the art technology, from on site OPG X-ray machine and laboratory making everything seamless with an amazing team that provide excellence, quality, care and always with a smile.
My first point of contact was Dep who took care of everything from the beginning up until we left. Thank you Dep for organising, scheduling of my appointments, the follow up messages to make sure I was fine, everything ran smoothly and seamlessly and always with a smile.
I was treated by Dr Alyssa whose dentistry is of the highest calibre.
She explained my treatment and always checking in to make sure I was comfortable during the process. A professional with meticulous attention to detail, dentistry with perfection.
Her dental nurse was great making sure I was comfortable during my treatments, the lab technician included in some of the consults instilled greater confidence and knew I was in great hands.
I had 20 Crowns, 2 bridges, 1 root canal, a very comfortable night guard.
I can not thank you enough…what a great team.
Over the next couple days during my dental appointments, I saw the standards, quality, skills professionalism including the hospitals facilities I felt comfortable and safe to get upper and lower
Blepharoplasty and no longer wanting fillers I used fat transfer.
A BIG thank you to Dr.Anh and her entire medical team you were all amazing, provided support when I was really scared! For all my fright there was Zero pain afterwards, it was performed under general sedation I didn’t feel a thing.

I was nervous about getting dental work done overseas, but choosing Worldwide Dental & Plastic Surgery Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
Back home in New Zealand, my dentist had checked my teeth only a month earlier but missed several failed root canals and infections I suspected were still there. The technology at Worldwide Dental was on another level. Their CT scanning clearly showed the problems and gave me full confidence in the treatment plan.
I was treated by Dr Alyssa (Dr Thiện), who managed my care from start to finish, supported by her excellent assistant. Their teamwork, professionalism, and clear communication stood out. Dr Alyssa explained everything clearly, constantly checked that I was comfortable, and made what could have been a stressful experience surprisingly calm.
The clinic was spotless, modern, and ran to very high hygiene standards. Having technicians on-site to make and adjust crowns immediately saved a lot of time. My treatment was extensive – three root canals, three crowns, a bridge, one extraction, and full whitening – and it was handled efficiently from start to finish. My partner also had whitening and some minor work done and was just as happy with the results and care.
We appreciated how upfront they were about what could realistically be done in our limited timeframe. Nothing was rushed, and anything that needed more time was deferred instead of being pushed through.
As English-only speakers, communication was easier than expected. Dr Alyssa’s English is excellent, and most staff we dealt with could communicate well. For any small gaps, Google Translate worked fine.
The results have been life-changing. I hadn’t smiled properly in years because I was so self-conscious about my teeth, and now I can’t stop smiling. It’s only been a week, but I already feel healthier and more confident.
Based on my experience, if you’re considering dental work in Vietnam but feeling hesitant, this clinic is worth your trust. Professional, clean, transparent, and genuinely patient-focused.
A massive thank you to Dr Alyssa, her assistant, and all the staff who helped both me and my partner – we’re genuinely grateful for your care and skill.

I had a wonderful experience October 2025 with Dr Tam and staff. I had 2 partial metal plate dentures fitted and a terrific job and the price was between half and two thirds off the price in Australia.
The doctor was generally always early as was I, and the staff were extremely pleasant. They completed my lengthy dental work in 6 days. Special thanks go to a a beautiful lady by the name of Dep who added an extra layer of communication which was a bonus in understanding the arrangements. Many thanks again to all there.

I had some fairly extensive work done on my all on fours and I was very guarded on what was fairly major work. But to my surprise everything went smooth as silk My dentist was Dr Vu and he was nothing short of amazing.I have been going to dentists for almost 70 years and Dr Vu is by far the most professional and knowledgeable dentist I have come across..His nurse Miss Phung was also very professional and made me me feel at ease the whole time.Dep organised everything for me,she was absolutely amazing,organising all my appointments,car pick up and drop off at my hotel, visas and everything went like clockwork.I never had to wait for anything.the hospital was state of the art and so were all the machinery.Price was amazing
If anyone is thinking about going to Vietnam to get work done don’t hesitate you will be amazed..The worldwide hospital experience for me was absolutely amazing. not only do they do teeth my wife and son had fat removed and not only was it very successful but recovery time was very quick.

On my last trip to Vietnam in March 2025, I considered taking care of some dental work but didn’t have enough time to proceed. I did, however, go in for a consultation at Worldwide Beauty with Dr. Loc and left with the idea of possibly returning for treatment on a future visit.
Even after returning home, I stayed in touch with Ms. Dep at Worldwide Beauty through WhatsApp, asking questions and getting more information. Over the summer, I spoke with several dentists and did plenty of research. By late August, I made the big decision to move forward with the crown procedures at Worldwide Beauty. The charismatic Ms. Dep helped eased my schedule for treatment upon my return to Ho Chi Minh City in September 2025.
When I arrived, Dr. Loc wasn’t available, but I was fortunate to be under the care of the incredibly skilled Dr. Alyssa, assisted by dental hygienist, Yen. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The entire process took about five visits, and despite my complicated case (23 crowns total), it was virtually painless aside from a little sensitivity.
Dr. Alyssa and Yen were outstanding—thorough, precise, patient, and compassionate every step of the way. Don’t let her youthful appearance and striking eyelashes fool you—Dr. Alyssa is an exceptional dentist, arguably among the very best in Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks to her, I now have my smile and confidence back. Something thought long gone, decades ago. I will be recommending Worldwide Beauty to folks at home with cosmetic dentistry needs.
