So, I had contacted Me Clinic via Line and asked for a quote to which the responded with a treatment recommendation based on a picture I supplied them. This treatment included dual fraxel, MTS and PRP. Interested I made a booking and flew from Japan to get the treatment taken care of with them. Upon arriving at the clinic, I was quite disappointed on a number of things. First, even though i made an appointment they didn't really seem to be aware of that and I was made to wait maybe 30 mins. The reception staff really looked like they didn't want to be there and their attitudes were sadly poor (To be fare this isn't necessary for their actual service).Next, I met with what I can assume was a doctor and was accompanied by a translator (his attitude was much the same as the reception staff, not pleasant and came off as he didn't want to be there). The doctor then said I would need another treatment and dual fraxel was not recommended. I'm not against that as a photo and in person are quite different, however, there is no mention of Infini RF on their website at all. So, I couldn't even see if the price I was charged was what was advertised. The doctor (I assume) then said they could also work with some subcision, which I had asked about initially but could not find on their website either. Next, I was taken to a different level and prepared for treatment. The application of anesthesia was good and professional. After a small wait in a waiting room I was then called for my treatment. This is where is was a little disappointed. The female doctor treating me spoke English very well so I was quite comfortable on that side. However, once we started she didn't really seem to know what areas I wanted to focus on for scar revision. I was lying down so atrophic scars can be a little difficult to see from this angle. She asked me to point to the areas I wanted focused on, to which I did, but also said it's a little hard to see from this angle. I have had subcision done previously and I had been sitting up so that the scars can be seen easily. This was a little worrying because obviously I've spent a bit of money flying to Seoul, booking accommodation and the treatment. I would like it to be done with care and consideration. Next we started with the Infini RF, I wasn't explained by anyone exactly how this works or what it does, so it was just by chance I happened to have researched it before. The treatment was done very quickly, I would say 5-10 mins for my whole face. That is very fast for an Infini treatment. They also didn't seem to do a second pass changing the depth of the needles, which I would have thought was standard, especially in the areas where the scars are concentrated. She spent more time on other areas than actually focusing on the scars that I came to have treated. Finally we finished with a very fast microneedling session. After all this I was left with PRP and some sort of cooling cream on a mask for 5-10 mins and then told it was over, and I can go. My face was very red at this stage, so I would have appreciated a little more time to recover and hopefully let the redness subside. Overall opinion:The treatment was cheaper than a lot of places, however, I really felt there wasn't much attention to detail, at least with my case. My treatment felt rushed and I don't really feel they asked any questions to address my actual concerns. Would I recommend it:Sure, but know that you might not get the highest level of treatment. Whatever person you see make sure you are very clear over and over with what you expect to have treated. You basically get what you pay for. Issues:Lack of communication.Poor attitude from reception and translation staff.Rushed treatment.Prices and treatments not being advertised and straight forward as they promote. Not addressing clearly your concerns. (Maybe this is to do with the type of treatment I had, however I still expect some attention to detail) I would perhaps use again based on the price, but I would definitely look around for another clinic first.
