Wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit

Markus Duks ist einer der ersten Ärzte, der die minimal-invasive CT-geführte Mikrowellenablation von Leber- und Lungentumoren durchführt.

Klinische Aktivitäten

Der Professor leitet das erste und einzige MRT-geführte FUS-Ablationszentrum im Rhein-Main-Gebiet. In den meisten Fällen vermeidet das Verfahren eine Operation. Ablation bei Prostatakrebs, Knochen- und Lebermetastasen, gutartigen Neubildungen, Behandlung von Uterusmyomen ohne chirurgischen Eingriff steht den Patienten des Zentrums zur Verfügung.
