Prof. Amos Toren, MD, PhD, MHA, ist pädiatrischer Hämatologe und Onkologe sowie Spezialist für Knochenmarktransplantation (BMT). Er war Direktor der Pädiatrischen Hämatologie und Onkologie sowie der BMT am Sheba Medical Center.
Er ist Facharzt für Kinderheilkunde, pädiatrische Hämatologie/Onkologie und Knochenmarktransplantation. Er hat einen PhD in Humangenetik. Er leitete die Abteilung für Hämatologie an der Universität Tel Aviv zwei Amtszeiten lang. Er ist Mitglied von ASH, COG, ESPHI, EBMT und CIBMTR. Außerdem gehört er dem Nabelschnurblut-Ausschuss des Gesundheitsministeriums an.
