He was born in 1987 in Denizli. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli. After his high school education, he started his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. After graduating from university, he received his Plastic Surgery branch training at Istanbul University Capa Medical Faculty and worked as a Plastic Surgery Assistant there.

Semerci, who worked in institutions such as Ordu State Hospital and Giresun Private Ada Hospital, most recently worked as a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist at Happy Esthetic Clinic. With over 10 years of plastic surgery experience, Dr. Gökhan Semerci speaks advanced English. As a child, the career I wanted the most was to become a doctor because I wanted to help others, give back to the society, and provide something good to my fellow humans. When I grew up, I became a doctor as I had always dream of. 

During my time as a medical student, I developed a strong passion for performing procedures because I enjoyed it and I was good at it. After graduating, I had the opportunity to further my studies in surgery due to my interest in performing various procedures and my personal traits of caring for everyone, treating them fairly, and focusing on achieving the best outcomes for my patients.
