Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci ist außerordentlicher Professor für Medizinische Onkologie an der İstinye-Universität, Liv Hospital Topkapı (seit 2025). Zuvor war er als außerordentlicher Professor und Weiterbildungskoordinator am Prof.-Dr.-Cemil-Taşcıoğlu-Stadtkrankenhaus tätig (2023–2025). Zu seinen bemerkenswerten Arbeiten gehört eine multizentrische Studie zum Überleben beim Kolonkarzinom im Stadium IIB (Journal of Chemotherapy). Außerdem untersuchte er das De‑Ritis‑Verhältnis im Hinblick auf Lungenmetastasen bei Hodenkrebs (Current Urology). In seinen prognostischen Studien nutzte er PET/CT, MSI, den Lymphknotenquotienten und das metabolische Tumorvolumen.
