Er verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrung mit Hüft- und Kniegelenkersatz, Revisionschirurgie, Oberflächenersatz an der Hüfte und anderen orthopädischen Operationen. Er hat ein Fellowship in Orthopädischer Chirurgie und Sporttraumatologie am Kanto-Spital Bruderholz in Basel, Schweiz, absolviert. Dr. Prakash spricht Englisch, Arabisch und Hindi und hat ein besonderes Interesse an Sportverletzungen, Ilizarov-Fixateur externe, Verriegelungsnägel und Hüft- und Knieendoprothetik. Seine Forschungsarbeit zur Extremitätenverlängerung hat er in internationalen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht.
