Magen-Darm- und Lungenkrebs ohne Chemotherapie behandeln. Spezialisten der Tel Aviv Sourasky Clinic (Ichilov) wenden eine hochmoderne innovative Technik zur Bekämpfung neuroendokriner Tumore an. Es basiert auf einer Radionuklidtherapie mit dem Radioisotop Lutetium 177 (Lutetium-177). Diese Innovation ist ein echter Durchbruch in der Onkotherapie, denn in den letzten Jahrzehnten ist die Zahl der Fälle dieser Krebsart rasant gestiegen.

Diese Technik ist weltweit völlig neu. Heute existiert sie nur noch in Israel, Deutschland und Schweden.

Seine Essenz liegt in der Verwendung eines neuen Radiopharmakons - Lutetium 177 PRRT. Das Medikament wird intravenös in Abständen von 7-8 Wochen verabreicht. Mit Hilfe von Lutetium werden Krebszellen selektiv zerstört, ohne gesundes Körpergewebe zu beeinträchtigen. Das heißt, diese Behandlungsmethode kann buchstäblich als „lokale Strahlentherapie“ bezeichnet werden. Darüber hinaus wirkt das Medikament nicht toxisch auf Knochenmark und Nieren und zerstört den Tumor von innen.

Darüber hinaus ermöglicht die Verwendung dieser Methode den Patienten, schwere Nebenwirkungen der Chemotherapie wie Erbrechen, Übelkeit, Schmerzen, Alopezie und Schwäche zu vermeiden. Wichtig ist auch, dass die Behandlung von einem speziellen Team von Fachärzten durchgeführt wird. Darunter: Führende Ärzte, Krankenschwestern und Medizinphysiker!
