Anschließend absolvierte er seine Facharztausbildung an der Augenklinik des Göztepe Training and Research Hospital Clinic of Ophthalmology (2000-2004). Er war außerordentlicher Professor am Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhaus der Medeniyet-Universität Göztepe und Chefarzt der Augenklinik des Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhauses der Medeniyet-Universität Göztepe (2014-2016) und Leiter der Abteilung für vitreoretinale Chirurgie am Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhaus der Medeniyet-Universität Göztepe (2010). -2017).
