Er ist spezialisiert auf plastische Chirurgie nach Krebs, Verbrennungen und Hauttumoren sowie Hand- und Kieferchirurgie. Er hat einen Abschluss in Allgemeinmedizin von der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Istanbul und eine Spezialisierung auf plastische und rekonstruktive Chirurgie von der Ankara GATA Medical School sowie ein Stipendium des MD Anderson Cancer Center der Universität von Texas.
