Petros Karamanakos

Mr. Petros Karamanakos is a graduate and PhD holder of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina.

He specialized and received further training at the University Neurosurgery Clinic of Kuopio, Finland (Director: Professor Juha Jääskeläinen), one of the most recognized Neurosurgery Clinics in Europe, where approximately 2500 surgical procedures from the entire spectrum of Neurosurgery are performed annually.

During his long tenure at the University Neurosurgery Clinic of Kuopio, he gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of the entire spectrum of neurosurgical diseases, while at the same time he prepared his second Doctoral Thesis in the field of Vascular Neurosurgery (Brain Aneurysms) .

Since September 2011, when he returned to Greece, he has been working as a Neurosurgeon in the private sector, while since 2014 he has been the Scientific Director of the Specialized Spine Center "SPINALIS" .
