Er war Pionier bei der Diagnose und Behandlung chronischer und subklinischer Abstoßung. Als Principal Investigator leitete er über zehn Förderprojekte und veröffentlichte mehr als 30 SCI-gelistete Publikationen. Er ist stellvertretender Vorsitzender der Sektion Transplantationschirurgen der Chinese Medical Doctor Association und der Sektion Organtransplantation der Shanghai Medical Association. Er ist Chefredakteur von Chinese Kidney Friends und Mitglied in den Redaktionsbeiräten von über 20 Zeitschriften, darunter der chinesischen Ausgabe von Transplantation.
