Dr. Do‑young Jeong ist Facharzt für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe mit Schwerpunkt auf minimalinvasiver Single‑Port‑ und robotergestützter Chirurgie. Dr. Jeong absolvierte ein Praktikum am Seoul National University Hospital sowie Facharztausbildung und Graduiertenstudium an der Korea University. Es folgte ein Fellowship in gynäkologischer Onkologie am National Cancer Center mit Fokus auf Uterus‑ und Ovarialerkrankungen. Dr. Jeong war Direktor und Chief Medical Officer am MizMedi Hospital und am Incheon Sejong Hospital und später Vizepräsident am Dongtan Jeil Hospital. Zudem ist Dr. Jeong Clinical Professor am Kyung Hee University Hospital at Gangdong und Adjunct Professor an der Korea University und wirkt in Expertengremien von KSGO, MOHW, MFDS und KHIDI mit.
Zu den Mitgliedschaften zählen die koreanischen Fachgesellschaften für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe, gynäkologische Endoskopie, gynäkologische roboterassistierte Chirurgie und Reproduktionsmedizin sowie die ISUOG. Dr. Jeong hält Patente für Single‑Port‑Operationsinstrumente, darunter eine Kamera, einen Zugangsring und ein Spülsystem. Auszeichnungen umfassen den Korea University Outstanding Resident Award und den KSGE Best Poster Award. 2013 und 2014 war Dr. Jeong Erstautor/in von SCI‑gelisteten Publikationen. Von 2023 bis 2025 leitete Dr. Jeong Studien zur da‑Vinci‑SP‑Myomektomie und ‑Hysterektomie sowie zu HIFU.
