Dabei werden enge Räume, die für die Entstehung einer chronischen Sinusitis verantwortlich sind, intranasal geöffnet und ihre mukoziliäre Reinigung durchgeführt. Schleimhautwucherungen, Polypen und kleine Knochenstrukturen, die bei funktionell ungünstigen anatomischen Varianten auftreten, werden entfernt. Ein weiteres Ziel der FESS-Operation ist es, die Nasennebenhöhlen möglichst schonend zu öffnen. Der Eingriff dauert je nach Umfang des chirurgischen Eingriffs 45 Minuten bis 2 Stunden.

Dr. Serkan Orhan ist ein erfahrener Hals-Nasen-Ohren-Arzt und Gesichtschirurg mit 25 Jahren Praxis. Er spezialisiert sich auf Rhinoplastik und fortgeschrittene HNO-Eingriffe und hat über 5.500 Behandlungen durchgeführt.
