Professor Stefano Boriani ist ein weltbekannter orthopädischer Chirurg und Autor eines einzigartigen chirurgischen Staging-Systems für Wirbelsäulentumoren und Tumorresektionsverfahren. Er hat über 3.000 chirurgische Eingriffe durchgeführt, über 430 Forschungsartikel geschrieben und ein Kohlefasersystem zur Tumorrekonstruktion erfunden.
