Ich wurde 1968 im Bezirk Mersin Gülnar geboren.

Nach meiner Grundschule in Konya Akşehir und meiner weiterführenden Schule in Anamur besuchte ich von 1981 bis 1985 die Kuleli-Militärhochschule.

Von 1985 bis 1992 studierte ich an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Hacettepe-Universität in englischer Sprache. Nach Abschluss meiner Assistenzausbildung am Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Gynäkologie-Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhaus wurde ich im Januar 1997 Fachärztin für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe.

Während ich zwischen 1997 und 2000 im Entbindungsheim Zübeyde Hanım arbeitete, absolvierte ich meinen Militärdienst im Marschall-Fevzi-Çakmak-Krankenhaus in Erzurum.

Seit dem Jahr 2000 arbeite ich als Facharzt im Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Gynäkologischen Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhaus.

Seit 2000 arbeite ich in meiner Praxis in der Mithatpaşa Cad. 71/7. Ich habe zwei Söhne, die 2000 und 2006 geboren wurden.

Prof. Dr. Halil Ibrahim Bekler wurde 1960 in Istanbul geboren. Er schloss seine Grundschulausbildung in Istanbul ab. 1979 schloss er die High School in Saint-Joseph ab. 1985 schloss er sein Studium an der Medizinischen Fakultät Istanbul ab. Im selben Jahr begann er als Assistenzarzt im Tokat Akbelen Health Center zu arbeiten. Zwischen 1987 und 1991 spezialisierte er sich am SiSli Etfal Hospital auf Orthopädie und Traumatologie. Zwischen 1993 und 1994 arbeitete er als Assistenzprofessor an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Dicle-Universität in Diyarbakır, Türkei. Später arbeitete er als Leiter der Abteilung für Orthopädie und Traumatologie am American Hospital. 1999 studierte er Mikrochirurgie am Cleveland Medical Center.
Er arbeitete als Facharzt für Orthopädie und Traumatologie-Mikrochirurgie in vielen privaten Krankenhäusern in Istanbul. Zwischen 2006 und 2007 arbeitete er als Hand- und Mikrochirurgie-Facharzt an der Columbia University School of Medicine. 2008 wurde er außerordentlicher Professor für Orthopädie an der medizinischen Fakultät der Yeditepe-Universität. Zwischen 2009 und 2015 arbeitete er als Chefarzt der Orthopädie am Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Hospital und bildete viele Assistenzärzte aus. 2016 wurde er Professor.

Er führt orthopädische mikrochirurgische Eingriffe im Avicenna Atasehir Hospital durch und bietet im Bereich Orthopädie und Traumatologie wirksame Behandlungen für Knie- und Hüftprothesen an.

Meine 34 Jahre als Arzt – das ist mehr als die Hälfte meines Lebens … Nach Tausenden von Operationen überwiegen immer noch die Aufregung und das Verantwortungsgefühl des ersten Tages. Mein Vater war Arzt, auch Neurologe. Wenn man mich in der Grundschule und in der weiterführenden Schule fragte, was ich werden würde, antwortete ich immer gleich: Neurochirurg. Als ich 1992 meine Facharztausbildung in Neurochirurgie am Haydarpaşa Numune Krankenhaus begann, erfüllte sich mein Kindheitstraum. Während meiner gesamten medizinischen Karriere haben sich zwei Punkte immer von den anderen abgehoben: 1. Niemandem Schaden zufügen. 2. Die wichtigste Beziehung zwischen Arzt und Patient ist das Vertrauensverhältnis. Gemäß dem Grundsatz „Zuerst einmal nicht schaden“ auf Türkisch und „primum non nocere“ auf Latein habe ich es immer vorgezogen, sichere Operationen unter dem Mikroskop mit kleineren Einschnitten durchzuführen. Ich habe keine Operationen durchgeführt, von denen ich nicht sicher war, ob der Patient davon profitieren würde. So war ich immer in der Lage, mich selbst zuerst von der Notwendigkeit einer Operation zu überzeugen. Dann überzeuge ich meinen Patienten. Ich habe immer daran gedacht, dass die wichtigste Beziehung zwischen Chirurg und Patient die Vertrauensbeziehung ist. Wie kann ein Mensch sein Leben jemandem anvertrauen, den er vor 15 Minuten gesehen hat, ohne dass eine Vertrauensbeziehung besteht? Mir war wichtig, dass diese Beziehung nach der Operation und sogar ein Leben lang anhält. Ich habe die ersten Spaziergänge meiner Patienten seit 28 Jahren gemacht, die ich operiert habe. Manchmal sogar viele Male nach Mitternacht … Mir war immer wichtig, dass manche Patienten das Gefühl haben, ihren Arzt auch um 03:00 Uhr nachts sehen zu müssen. Ich habe kein Problem damit, allen meinen Patienten meine Handynummer zu geben. Ich möchte, dass mein Arzt bei Bedarf jederzeit erreichbar ist. Das ist es, was ich für meine Patienten tue. In diesen Zeilen hatte ich das Bedürfnis, meine Sicht der Medizin zu beschreiben. Wer sich trotzdem fragt, kann meinen Lebenslauf und meine Veröffentlichungen einsehen.

Prof. Dr. Selami Sozubir ist Kinderchirurg und Kinderurologe. Er ist spezialisiert auf rekonstruktive Chirurgie des kindlichen Urogenitaltrakts, Hypospadie, angeborene Fehlbildungen des Harnsystems, Kinderbauchchirurgie, onkologische Chirurgie und Neugeborenenchirurgie. Er hat 43 internationale und 34 nationale Fachartikel veröffentlicht. Sein wissenschaftliches Wirken spiegelt sich in einem h-Index von 16 wider.

Dr. Sozubir wurde mehrfach für seine Beiträge zur medizinischen Wissenschaft ausgezeichnet. Er ist Mitglied der Gesellschaft für Kinderchirurgie, der Gesellschaft für Kinderurologie und der Europäischen Gesellschaft für Kinderurologie. Diese Mitgliedschaften unterstreichen sein Engagement für höchste Standards in der kinderchirurgischen Versorgung.

Ich habe 1984 mein Medizinstudium an der Universität Ankara abgeschlossen. Nach meinem Wehrdienst bin ich viele Jahre ins Ausland (Großbritannien, Saudi-Arabien, Griechenland und Russland) gereist, um in den Bereichen Gynäkologie und Unfruchtbarkeit zu studieren und zu arbeiten. 1997 habe ich meine Facharztausbildung am Kartal Training and Research Hospital absolviert. Nach meiner Ausbildung habe ich im Kartal SSK-Krankenhaus gearbeitet. 2001 bin ich an die Universität Tel Aviv in Israel gegangen und habe eine Ausbildung in In-vitro-Fertilisation und Reproduktionsendokrinologie absolviert. Nach meiner Rückkehr in die Türkei habe ich mein eigenes Zentrum für In-vitro-Fertilisation (IVF-Zentrum) eröffnet. Nachdem das Krankenhaus, in dem sich mein IVF-Zentrum befand, aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen geschlossen wurde, habe ich angefangen, als Privatarzt zu praktizieren. Kurze Zeit später habe ich als Leiterin des Zentrums für gynäkologische Onkologie und IVF im Acibadem-Krankenhaus in Bodrum angefangen. Dann bin ich nach Istanbul zurückgekehrt und habe meine Arbeit in Privatkliniken als Facharzt für gynäkologische Onkologie und IVF fortgesetzt.
Im Laufe meiner langjährigen Erfahrung habe ich über 15.000 IVF-Versuche durchgeführt.
