Dr. Metin Özgen ist Professor für Rheumatologie an der Ondokuz Mayıs Universität. Seine Facharztausbildung in Innerer Medizin und Rheumatologie absolvierte er an der Fırat Universität. 2012 wurde er außerordentlicher Professor an der İnönü Universität Malatya und 2020 zum Professor an der Ondokuz Mayıs Universität berufen.

Dr. Özgen spezialisiert sich auf die Diagnose und Behandlung von Erkrankungen wie Familiärem Mittelmeerfieber, Morbus Bechterew, Morbus Behçet, Rheumatoider Arthritis und Systemischem Lupus Erythematodes. Dr. Baha Zengel ist Facharzt für Allgemeinchirurgie mit Spezialisierung auf Brust-, Gallenblasen-, Schilddrüsenerkrankungen und Hernienoperationen. Er schloss 1990 sein Medizinstudium an der Ege Universität ab und promovierte 2004 in Onkologie an der Universität Dokuz Eylül. 2014 wurde er durch den Hochschulrat zum außerordentlichen Professor für Allgemeinchirurgie ernannt.

Dr. Zengel beherrscht fortgeschrittene chirurgische Verfahren, darunter haut- und brusterhaltende Mastektomie, onkoplastische Brustchirurgie, laparoskopische Cholezystektomie, Sentinel-Lymphknotenbiopsie sowie ROLL/SNOLL-Techniken. Er hatte leitende Positionen am Izmir Bozyaka Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhaus inne, darunter als Ausbildungsleiter.

Er ist Mitglied mehrerer Fachgesellschaften, Vorstandsmitglied der Chirurgischen Vereinigung der Ägäisregion und Gründungsmitglied des Verbands für Onkologie.
