Doctoral Thesis: Evaluation of the osteogenic potential of periodontium-derived mesenchymal stem cells in 2D and 3D culture environments.

Dr. Burcin Kececi ist Facharzt für Orthopädie und Traumatologie. Er spezialisiert sich auf Kinderorthopädie, Knochenmetastasen, Knochen- und Weichteiltumoren sowie orthopädische Onkologie. Er führt fortgeschrittene Operationen an Knie, Hüfte, Sprunggelenk, Ellbogen, Hand und Schulter durch. Zu seinen Fähigkeiten gehören auch Prothesenwechsel, Gliedmaßenverlängerungen, Sehnentransfers und Traumatologie.

Er absolvierte zusätzliche Weiterbildungen in Frankreich zu Knie-, Hüft- und Sportverletzungen sowie zur minimal-invasiven Hüftchirurgie. Dr. Kececi arbeitete an der Universität Ege und im İzmir Privatkrankenhaus. Derzeit ist er am Medical Point İzmir Hospital tätig. Er ist Mitglied nationaler und internationaler orthopädischer und onkologischer Fachgesellschaften, darunter ISOLS, SICOT und EMSOS. Zudem war er Vorstandsmitglied bei TOTBİD.
