Assoc. Prof. Ozdogan, M.D., Ph.D., completed his education at Yeditepe University Health Sciences Institute in the Molecular Medicine Doctorate Program under Prof. Dr. Turgay İsbir, and he also studied at Saint Louis University in Arkansas, USA, with Prof. Dr. M. In 2009, he specialized in Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Chest Diseases. He completed his compulsory service at Şanlıurfa Suruç State Hospital in 2010.

In 2015, he received the title of associate professor while working at Muğla University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Chest Diseases. Kalemci has clinical and experimental studies in the field of Chest Diseases.

He has 50 international publications. 4 of these were published in SCI and 36 in SCI EXPANDED journals. He has 20 national publications. He has made oral and written presentations at many national and international congresses.

He was born in Bulancak the district of Giresun in 1974. After he completed his middle and high school education in Giresun, in 1992, he won 19 May University Medical Faculty in Samsun. In 2000, he won Erzurum Atatürk University Medical Faculty section of ENT, he worked in Otlu Government Hospital and Erzurum Numune Hospital after he completed his specialty in 2004. In 2005 he began working at Erzurum Private Recovery Hospital.

Between 2007 – 2008 he completed his military service in Van Military Hospital. After returning from his military service he worked in Erzurum Private Recovery Hospital for 4 more months. In 2008 he began working at Ankara Private Lokman Hekim Hopital Etlik and branch of Sincan. Oncology Specialization Training

Dr. Ayan graduated from Medical School in 1991 and completed his urology education in 1997. At the beginning of his carrier, he was a post doctorate research fellow at the Department of Urology of Harvard Medical School, Children’s Hospital in Boston (1999-2000). He studied the effect of partial ureteral obstruction to the kidney in early developmental stage in an experimental animal fetus model. This study provided a significant contribution to a complicated issue of pediatric urology and was cited many times by its successors. 

He became associate professor of urology in 2004 and was appointed as a professor of urology in 2009. He was accepted as a clinical fellow in Minimal Invasive Urologic Oncology at the Department of Surgery, Section of Urology at the University of Chicago (2014-2015). He worked in an intense oncology program mainly concentrated on robotic surgery of prostate and kidney cancer. Because of this background, he is mainly interested in urologic oncology and pediatric urology. The primary portion of his daily practice consist of kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, neonatal hydronephrosis, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, urine reflux to kidney, hypospadias and undescended testis. 

Because of its prevalence in Turkey, Prof. Ayan has a huge experience with urinary stone disease and he is doing large number of endoscopic and percutaneous surgeries for kidney, ureter and bladder stones. 

Prof. Ayan holds United States Medical License and European Board of Urology Certificate. He is a member of AUA, EAU and Turkish Urologic Surgery and Urologic Oncology Societies.
