Ezgi Sevic schloss ihr Studium an der Hacettepe-Universität, Fachbereich Ernährung und Diätetik, als Ehrenstudentin ab. Während ihrer Ausbildung führte sie Studien zu den Themen „Die Wirkung hedonistischen Essverhaltens auf Fettleibigkeit“, „Totale parenterale Ernährung bei Kindern“ und „Die Beziehung zwischen Insulinresistenz und Fettleibigkeit“ durch. Während ihrer Ausbildung nahm sie an Studien zur Bestimmung des Ernährungszustands der Gesellschaft teil. Sie arbeitete als Diätassistentin in Krankenhäusern der Hacettepe-Universität (Onkologisches Krankenhaus, Erwachsenenkrankenhaus, İhsan Doğramacı-Kinderkrankenhaus), Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt-Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhaus und vielen kommunalen Gesundheitszentren.
