Dr. Osama Abdel Mohimen Mohamed ist Leiter der Hämatologieeinheit an den Shefaa Al Orman Oncology Hospitals. Außerdem ist er seit 2019 als Konsiliararzt für internistische Onkologie und Hämatologie am Shefa El Orman Hospital (NGO) in Luxor tätig.
Er diagnostiziert und behandelt akute und chronische Leukämien, Lymphome, Myelome, myelodysplastische Syndrome und myeloproliferative Neoplasien. Zudem behandelt er Komplikationen solider Tumoren.
Werdegang: Am National Cancer Institute der Kairo-Universität war er zunächst Assistenzarzt in der internistischen Onkologie, anschließend Demonstrator und Assistenzdozent (2008–2022). Zuvor war er Arzt im Praktikum (2006–2007). Außerdem war er als Spezialist am Al Salam International, Al Molalmen und BAHEYA Oncology Center (NGO) tätig.

- Diagnosis and management of the following cases:
Acute leukemia: Aggressive cancers of the blood and bone marrow requiring immediate and intensive chemotherapy.
Chronic leukemia: Slower-growing cancers that may be managed with long-term oral therapies.
Lymphomas: Cancers of the lymphatic system, which can present in various forms and require tailored treatment approaches.
Myeloma: A cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow, often managed with a combination of novel agents and, in eligible patients, stem cell transplantation.
Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs): A group of disorders affecting the production of blood cells in the bone marrow.
