Dr. Nurperi Gazioglu ist Neurochirurgin. Sie wurde an der Medizinischen Fakultät Cerrahpaşa der Universität Istanbul ausgebildet. Nach dem Studium von 1978 bis 1984 erwarb sie 1984 den M.D.-Abschluss. Die neurochirurgische Facharztausbildung absolvierte sie von 1986 bis 1993. Ihre Dissertation von 1993 befasste sich mit „Transplantation der fetalen Hypophyse unter die Nierenkapsel bei Ratten“.
Sie absolvierte Fortgeschrittenenkurse in endoskopischer Hypophysenchirurgie (2005, 2007, 2008) und endoskopischer lumbaler Bandscheibenchirurgie (2007). Zudem bildete sie sich in Molekulargenetik für Kliniker (2003) und im Rahmen einer CME bei der World Federation of Neurology (2002) fort. Sie vertiefte sich in Epilepsiechirurgie mit Schwerpunkt insulo-hippocampale Anatomie (1999) sowie in thorakolumbales Trauma (1998). Sie besuchte den EANS European Neurosurgery Course (1988). Zu ihrer klinischen Ausbildung zählen Hospitationen am APHP Necker–Enfants Malades und am Hôpital Lariboisière (1991); dort absolvierte sie 1999 ein klinisches Praktikum.
