Dr. Ayhan treats advanced treatment protocols for a wide range of solid tumors. His primary areas of interest include breast and lung cancer, and colorectal and gastrointestinal cancers. He also treats gynecological and urogenital cancers and provides molecular oncology through targeted therapies.
He uses molecular diagnostics to identify specific gene aberrations, such as Pik3ca mutations. This data helps him select targeted agents like tyrosine kinase inhibitors. He also treats bone cancer and liver malignancies because these conditions often require specialized oncological management.

Dr. Ayhan is a researcher for several multicenter international studies. He evaluates the efficacy of new endocrine therapies and subcutaneous immunotherapies. His research work includes evaluating GDC-9545 and GDC-0077 for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.
