    Prof. Abuzer Dirican ist Professor für Allgemeinchirurgie und Chirurgische Onkologie sowie Abteilungsleiter am Florence Nightingale Hospital. Er schloss 1995 die Medizinische Fakultät der Universität Hacettepe ab und beendete 2000 seine Facharztausbildung in Allgemeinchirurgie am SSK Ankara. Er arbeitete am Lebertransplantationsinstitut der İnönü-Universität und wurde 2017 zum Professor berufen. Zudem absolvierte er ein klinisches und wissenschaftliches Fellowship in Lebertransplantation und hepatobiliärer Chirurgie.

    2016 verfasste er das Kapitel „Lebertransplantation“ in Schwartz’ Principles of Surgery. Seine Veröffentlichungen umfassen Cholangiokarzinom, Lebertransplantation, endokrine Chirurgie und kolorektale Chirurgie. Zu seinen wichtigen Arbeiten zählen eine prospektiv randomisierte Studie zur Pilonidalerkrankung und Untersuchungen zum brustkrebsbedingten Lymphödem. Außerdem war er Mitautor von Analysen zu 304 Lebendspender-Lebertransplantationen und 109 Rekonstruktionen der Lebervenen.

Ich kann Aliser und die Unterstützung, die wir erhalten haben, nur wärmstens empfehlen – insbesondere unter solch schwierigen Umständen
Ich kann das Florence Nightingale Hospital jedem, der eine medizinische Reise vor sich hat, nur empfehlen. Für uns kam alles so plötzlich. Von dem Moment an, als wir die Dateien hochgeladen und unsere Anfrage auf Bookimed gestellt haben, war Aliser als internationaler Koordinator sofort zur Stelle, um uns zu unterstützen - unglaublich aufmerksam und mit Mitgefühl. Er ging auf unsere Bedürfnisse ein, rief uns per WhatsApp an, um alle Fragen zu beantworten, und ging weit darüber hinaus, um uns die benötigten Informationen zu geben. Wir hatten mit erheblichen Zeitzonenproblemen zu kämpfen (wir leben in Hongkong, während unser Patient, der Schwiegervater, in Albanien lebte), aber wir haben diese Belastung nicht gespürt. Wir hatten viele spezielle Bedürfnisse, die erfüllt wurden, einschließlich einer Videokonferenz mit Professor Yildiray Yuzer, um unsere Fragen direkt zu beantworten. Wir waren nicht die einfachsten Patienten und brauchten viel Zuspruch, aber Aliser konnte sich gut in die Lage der Patienten versetzen und war auf unserer Seite, um uns zu helfen. Wir waren unglaublich zufrieden mit dem Niveau der Unterstützung, die wir erhielten - vor allem im Vergleich zu anderen Krankenhäusern in Istanbul. Ich kann Aliser und die Unterstützung, die wir erhalten haben, nicht genug empfehlen - vor allem unter solch schwierigen Umständen. Als wir in Istanbul ankamen, wurden wir mit einem Transfer empfangen, und es wurden Empfehlungen für eine Unterkunft gegeben, um sicherzustellen, dass wir uns wohlfühlten. Während unserer Konsultationen hatten wir das Gefühl, dass das Team in Florenz es ernst meinte und die Gesundheit der Patienten über den Profit stellte, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Auch während des Krankenhausaufenthalts selbst waren wir von dem Mitgefühl der Krankenschwestern und des Hilfspersonals auf unserer Station überwältigt. In einer Zeit, die so schwierig war, gab es so viele Momente der Wärme und Unterstützung. Darüber hinaus waren die Einrichtungen, die Krankenhauszimmer und die Sauberkeit und Hygiene in Florenz fantastisch, wir hätten uns keinen besseren Aufenthalt wünschen können. Vor allem aber haben uns die Erfahrung und das Fachwissen von Professor Yuzer und seinem Team beruhigt. Jeder Patient kann darauf vertrauen, dass er in fachkundigen Händen ist. Es ist auch hilfreich zu sehen, dass diese Fähigkeiten durch echtes Einfühlungsvermögen für den Patienten unterstützt werden. Letztendlich war der Eingriff ein Erfolg (wir hoffen, dass diese positive Entwicklung anhält!). Es fühlt sich surreal an, diese Reise angetreten zu haben, aber ich bin unglaublich zufrieden mit dem Service, der Unterstützung und der Kompetenz des Krankenhauses. Mir fällt nichts ein, was ich verbessern könnte!

Neben Florence war auch das bookimed-Team unglaublich hilfsbereit und mitfühlend, vor allem in den ersten Wochen, als wir versuchten, die verschiedenen Optionen zu erkunden und Entscheidungen zu treffen. - Das medizinische Team, insbesondere die Ärzte und Übersetzer, waren sehr kompetent und zuvorkommend und haben meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen. - Alle meine Fragen wurden von den Übersetzern und dem medizinischen Personal schnell und effektiv beantwortet. - Die Einrichtungen waren erstklassig und sehr sauber. - Das Einzige, was ich mir verbessern würde, sind einige Krankenschwestern, die kein grundlegendes Englisch verstehen.
- Die Mitarbeiter haben sich meine persönlichen Anliegen wirklich angehört und entsprechend darauf reagiert. - Die Einrichtungen waren sehr sauber und gut.
