Dr. Tamer Mostafa Manie ist außerordentlicher Professor für chirurgische Onkologie am Nationalen Krebsinstitut der Universität Kairo. Zudem ist er leitender Brust- und onkoplastischer Chirurg am Shefa Al Orman. Er führt Brustkrebsoperationen und Rekonstruktionen durch. Sein Spektrum umfasst brusterhaltende Operationen (BET), Mastektomie und Lumpektomie. Er führt Sentinel-Lymphknoten- und axilläres Staging durch. Er bietet Implantat- und Expanderrekonstruktionen sowie Lappenverfahren (LD, TDAP, LICAP, AICAP, TRAM, SEAP) an. Außerdem führt er Supermikrochirurgie bei Lymphödemen durch. Von 2021 bis 2023 war er Vorsitzender des interdisziplinären Brustkrebs-Teams (MDT) am Madinet Nasr Oncology Center.
Qualifikationen: MBBCh (2003), Master in chirurgischer Onkologie (2009), Promotion in chirurgischer Onkologie (2014). Internationale Weiterbildung: Heart of England NHS Trust (2013), European Institute of Oncology, Mailand (2013–2014), Nottingham Breast Institute (2023). Mitgliedschaften: EGSSO und Europäische Gesellschaft für Chirurgische Onkologie.
