Sean Hu

Dr. Sean Hu is a prominent figure in the field of biotechnology and stem cell therapy. He holds a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. Dr. Hu is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd., as well as the director of the Shenzhen Beike Cell Engineering Institute. He is also recognized as one of the first batch of experts in China’s “Thousand Talents Program.”

Dr. Hu’s vision is centered on making high-quality health services accessible through biotechnological advancements, particularly in cell therapy. Under his leadership, Beike Biotechnology has become a leader in the development and commercialization of adult stem cell therapies, with a focus on treating conditions such as brain, spinal cord, neurodegenerative and auto-immune disorders.
