Zahnbehandlung Behandlungen in clinic Dental Dr. Florentino Odontología Profesional

Clinic Dental Dr. Florentino Odontología Profesional is a private dental clinic in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Established in 2006, the practice focuses on restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and implant-based rehabilitation. It operates as a single-specialty facility under the leadership of Dr. Florentino.

Key Statistics and Professional Background

The clinic treats many international patients from the USA and Canada. Dr. Florentino is a board-certified implant dentist with over 20 years of clinical experience. He has served international patients for more than 15 years.

Dr. Florentino completed his primary dental education at the University Odontológica Dominicana. He then trained at the Global Institute for Dental Education (GIDE) in the USA. His coursework there covered implant placement and full-mouth rehabilitation.

Dental Implant Protocols

The clinic specializes in full-arch restoration using All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols. These systems replace all teeth in a jaw with a stable, fixed restoration. Digital studies analyze bone density, bite alignment, and aesthetics before surgery.

• All-on-4 uses four implants, including two tilted posterior implants, to support a bridge.
• All-on-6 uses six implants for added stability in the mandible or maxilla.
• Both protocols require a healing period of 4–6 months for osseointegration.
• The final fixed porcelain bridge is placed after the implants bond with the bone.

Treatment for full-arch cases is personalized based on a pre-surgical evaluation. This approach helps ensure long-term stability for the permanent prosthesis.

Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry

Dr. Florentino provides several prosthetic solutions for missing or damaged teeth. The clinic has completed thousands of crowns with an experienced dental laboratory. Patients can choose from several material options:

• Zirconia crowns: Metal-free restorations documented by the clinic to last over 15 years.
• Porcelain veneers: Thin shells used for smile makeovers and aesthetic corrections.
• Implant-supported bridges: Three-unit or four-unit bridges over two implants.
• Metal-porcelain crowns: A traditional restorative option for various dental needs.

Zirconia crown production typically takes 10 to 12 days. This timeline depends on the number of restorations required.

Technology and Diagnostics

The clinic uses digital planning tools to design predictable, durable treatment plans. Diagnostic services include periapical X-rays and vitality tests to assess tooth health. Complex cases rely on Cone Beam CT scans and tomographies for treatment planning.

Implant and crown materials come from leading brands in the USA and Europe. These high-quality materials support the clinic's focus on long-term functional results.

International Patient Services

International care is part of the clinic's standard workflow. Dr. Florentino speaks English and personally conducts consultations for English-speaking patients. The practice specializes in serving travelers from North America who need complex dental work.

Digital consultations and treatment materials explain procedures step-by-step. This helps patients understand the timeline for staged treatments like dental implants.
